Valentine’s Day is the perfect day for a wedding! That’s what Christy and David thought when they planned their Valentine’s nuptials to take place at Shawnee Town Hall on Sunday afternoon!

Everyone loved the photobooth and took some great pictures! Congratulations to Christy and David! May every Valentine’s Day be just as wonderful (if not better) than your first as husband and wife!

Despite some terrible car accidents due to bad road conditions, Sunday’s PWG show went very well. Not only did we get to see some brides that we had met before at WHITE and the Tuscan Ballroom, we met some new brides and got to know a few vendors a little better.

If you’re looking for something modern and filled with passion, you should definitely check out Erin and Marco with Photos Edge. The funny thing is, they shot the pictures for our friend’s wedding (Matt & Meaghan) and we didn’t even know it! Check out their wedding pictures on facebook. They’re awesome! Plus, your photographers are people who you will spend the whole day with, so you really need to mesh well with them. These two are so fun, I’d be surprised if you didn’t feel the same way!
 

Berry Good Video – Jordan & Carrie (www.berrygoodvideo.com)
Jordan & Carrie’s booth was right across from ours, so I was watching their promo video all day…it’s awesome! Did you know that Stephanie Iway (8/22/2009) used Berry Good Video? Maybe the photobooth was showcased in that video!

Have you ever heard of a Same Day Edit? Jordan and Carrie will create a video of getting ready and leading up to the ceremony to be shown at your reception! What a great time to see what the morning was really like for your husband or wife and for your guests to get a behind-the-scenes look into just how much you love each other!

We’re so glad we got to get to know both of these vendors better on Sunday. It is always good to meet vendors that you can truly recommend: that have great work and great personalities!

Amanda and Stephen hosted their ceremony and reception at the Loose Mansion. We have been here many times and we love it! It is such a beautiful venue. After the ceremony, the room was flipped to host dinner for the guests, before being flipped again to allow Amanda and Stephen and all their guests to dance the night away.

If you have considered having a candy bar for your guests’ favor (along with the photobooth, of course!), DO IT! The table was covered in various jars filled to the brim with goodies and the guests devoured it all! We’re talking Reese’s peanut butter cups, Hershey’s Kisses with Almonds, M&Ms, Swedish fish, Twizzlers and much more. It made for quite a colorful display and anyone could tell that the guests loved it!

Now for the best pictures of the evening… If you’re wondering about having a photobooth, just check out all the fun these people had. Then imagine YOUR family and friends! Unforgettable memories are made in a photobooth!

What can I even say to explain this unique event? FUN! This Valentine’s Day Dinner and Dance was put on by Indian Hills Coutnry Club. The Fathers of around 20 girls (ages 4-10ish) took the daughters out for a night of photobooth fun, dinner and DANCING! Who knew an 8 year old could dance so well! These girls were LOVING the photobooth. We’ve never taken so many pictures in such a short amount of time! 3 hours. 186 PICTURES!! When you consider that the average (4 hour) wedding reception will take around 120-130 pictures, 187 in 3 hours is astounding!

The best part was the feather boas, headbands and hats that the girls could adorn themselves with before hopping into the photobooth, again and again!

Thank you to Indian Hills Country Club for letting us be a part of this very memorable evening! We would love to be a part of another awesome event!

If you haven’t been to the Madrid, you need to check it out! What a great venue! Why rent just a room when you can have a venue that has character that adds to the overall ambiance of your event?

We had a great time with everyone who came out to the Tasting and Open House on Thursday evening! Check out some of the best shots!

What an awesome evening! We have been to the Tuscan Ballroom Open House a few times (ever since it changed from the Liberty Hills Country Club to The Tuscan Ballroom, I believe!), but this was by far, the best attended Open House! And everyone braved some slick roads to make it; a wonderful surprise! The food was great, the cake by Cake Whimzy was awesome and the photobooth was hoppin’!

If you are looking for a venue for up to 300, check out The Tuscan Ballroom. It is in Liberty, Missouri and it is a beautiful building in the middle of country landscaping. They have the option for an on-site ceremony either outside or inside. AND everyone is wonderful to work with!

It’s always great to see how much fun everyone has with the photobooth and the excitement at the idea of wedding guests streaming in and out of the photobooth having a great time at their wedding!

Two years ago when Adam and I were planning our wedding, we attended a bridal show that was completely different than any other. WHITE (www.thewhiteevent.com) is a bridal show put on by Michael Nolte of Nolte’s Bridal. When Adam, my Mom and I went in 2008, we met with many exceptional vendors, but our attention was stolen by the Big Band sound of Atlantic Express (www.garymac.com). What a BAND!! (We were SO glad that we chose to have Atlantic Express perform at our wedding; WOW!)

After meeting with vendors, we had a catered lunch, wedding seminar with Michael Nolte and a bridal gown fashion show. It was a wonderful event. SO different from every other bridal show!

Now, two years later, KC Photobooth was invited by Michael Nolte to be a part of the WHITE Bridal Specialists of 2010! What an honor to be commended among the best of the best wedding vendors in Kansas City! Having been to WHITE as a Bride, Groom and Mother of the Bride, we were so glad to meet new Brides and their families to help them make their weddings unique and unforgettable!

We met many wonderful people who took great pictures; Even a few vendors took some pictures!

On Friday, we were invited to the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner to entertain and show everyone what KC Photobooth is all about! We had the photobooth going strong during cocktail hour and everyone loved it!

Last night, we were lucky enough to attend the Renee Kelly’s Vendor Thank You Event! What a wonderful evening! The Pearl Mic Project kept the evening going with classic big band music from Frank Sinatra and many other great names. The appetizers and desserts were prepared by Chef Renee Kelly herself and the food was wonderful! Adam said the crab cake was one of the best he’s ever had! My Mom and Me Cakes designed a beautiful cake (see below), but it tasted even better than it looked!! Delicious!

If you haven’t been to Renee Kelly’s at Caenan Castle, you need to check it out! What an AMAZING venue! A renovated castle is certainly a perfect setting for a wedding! Renee Kelly’s provides the ultimate “castle experience” from the decor, tables, place settings to the excellent service provided by every staff member! Their brochure highlights the fact that they strive to go above and beyond for every event, and it definitely showed! Check out the pictures of the castle (AWESOME) and, of course, all the fun had in the photobooth!
