“Dear Patty & KC Photobooth!
I am so thankful we hired you to bring your photobooth to our wedding! It was so fun to look at the pictures & messages the very next day. The scrapbook will be a keepsake we will cherish forever!
Everything ran so smoothly! I was impressed!
Thank you,”

“I just wanted to tell you how much fun the photobooth was. I’ve already given your number to several people and my oldest son has FINALLY decided to get married. I’ll be calling you when they decide on a date. Were you the person putting the book together? I knew so many people at the wedding and had my picture taken in the photobooth so many times…It sure was a big hit! Maybe you can send me some business cards because so many people are asking me for one. My son’s friends are all the right age to marry right now.
Thank you again for making everything go so smooth!”

Well, I have finally caught up with all of the weddings and other events so far in 2009. It was quite a project! I hope everyone enjoys seeing the photostrips and hearing about some of the unique elements from each of the events that we have done.
In the beginning, I thought about going back and blogging about all of the events in 2008. I’m pretty satisfied with just doing 2009. If your event was in 2008, I apologize, but hey, you can always rent another photobooth and see yourself on the blog…….

We first met Maggie and David at a wedding reception for Megan and Bobby on May 9, 2009, but Maggie and David were not new to photobooths. When we met at the office Maggie told me that they took pictures in a photobooth on their first date and that she had asked David if they could go to a photobooth and take a picture after their wedding reception. After attending Megan and Bobby’s reception, they both agreed that having a photobooth at the reception was a much better idea. I should also point out that Maggie and David designed their own customized fourth frame. This has become very popular for the bride and groom or family to do this graphic design and I think it makes it so special, not to mention that they did a great job!
Maggie and David chose the Marriott Hotel at the Airport for their wedding reception and it was beautiful. The staff at the Marriott was awesome, very helpful. Perhaps the only thing that completely outshined the beautiful flowers and decor was the gorgeous wedding gown that Maggie was wearing. It was so beautiful, I asked her where she found it – Bridal Extraordinaire.
Bridal Extraordinaire is located in Shawnee, Kansas. I have to tell you that they do have an extraordinary selection of gowns as well as an extraordinary staff! You should definitely check with them before you make a final selection when purchasing gowns for any special occasion.
A highlight noted by our on site coordinators, Angie and Christin, was the Father/Daughter dance. Angie said that Maggie’s father picked her up while they were dancing as if he were saying, “You’ll always be daddy’s little girl”.
Maggie said the guests loved the photobooth. Let’s take a look…

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS HAVE BIG PARTY AT CROSSTOWN STATION.
We have really been enjoying visiting all of these new venues! The Crosstown Station is best known for having bands, but August 7th was all about Big Brothers Big Sisters showing their appreciation for some of the teams of Bigs.
A really great cover band played the entire event. I’m sorry I have forgotten their name. They were really good!
Erica with BBBS brought props for everyone to enjoy and we turned on all three software programs in the photobooth so there were a variety of options. See below…

Karla and Chet chose the Gamber Center in Lee’s Summit for their wedding and reception. This is a fairly new venue, our first visit. It is really nice. Karla and Chet had the wedding outdoors with a gazebo with a backdrop made by Karla’s mother. It was beautiful.
The guests moved indoors for the reception and for lots of fun with the photobooth. From all reports from our on site coordinators, Angie and Christin, Chet may have set a record for trips to the photobooth.
We’re looking forward to our next visit in August of 2010, it’s already on the books!
