Two years ago when Adam and I were planning our wedding, we attended a bridal show that was completely different than any other. WHITE (www.thewhiteevent.com) is a bridal show put on by Michael Nolte of Nolte’s Bridal. When Adam, my Mom and I went in 2008, we met with many exceptional vendors, but our attention was stolen by the Big Band sound of Atlantic Express (www.garymac.com). What a BAND!! (We were SO glad that we chose to have Atlantic Express perform at our wedding; WOW!)
After meeting with vendors, we had a catered lunch, wedding seminar with Michael Nolte and a bridal gown fashion show. It was a wonderful event. SO different from every other bridal show!
Now, two years later, KC Photobooth was invited by Michael Nolte to be a part of the WHITE Bridal Specialists of 2010! What an honor to be commended among the best of the best wedding vendors in Kansas City! Having been to WHITE as a Bride, Groom and Mother of the Bride, we were so glad to meet new Brides and their families to help them make their weddings unique and unforgettable!
We met many wonderful people who took great pictures; Even a few vendors took some pictures!

Last night, we were lucky enough to attend the Renee Kelly’s Vendor Thank You Event! What a wonderful evening! The Pearl Mic Project kept the evening going with classic big band music from Frank Sinatra and many other great names. The appetizers and desserts were prepared by Chef Renee Kelly herself and the food was wonderful! Adam said the crab cake was one of the best he’s ever had! My Mom and Me Cakes designed a beautiful cake (see below), but it tasted even better than it looked!! Delicious!
If you haven’t been to Renee Kelly’s at Caenan Castle, you need to check it out! What an AMAZING venue! A renovated castle is certainly a perfect setting for a wedding! Renee Kelly’s provides the ultimate “castle experience” from the decor, tables, place settings to the excellent service provided by every staff member! Their brochure highlights the fact that they strive to go above and beyond for every event, and it definitely showed! Check out the pictures of the castle (AWESOME) and, of course, all the fun had in the photobooth!

Here’s the beautiful (and DELICIOUS!) cake by My Mom and Me.
Check out the photobooth fun!!

Thank you Renee Kelly’s for allowing us to be a part of your event! And thanks to all the vendors that came out!

We were lucky enough to be invited to yet another Deer Creek Golf Club Open House! We were last there for their Open House on July 30, 2009 and let me tell you, it was A LOT warmer then!!
What a wonderful turn out for a Thursday evening! Around 65 Brides came out to tour Deer Creek’s reception accomodations, taste some delicious food and meet a lot of great vendors! A new thing we saw last night was Frozen Drinks R Us. They rent frozen drink machines for wedding receptions and other parties for a pretty affordable price! It’s always fun to see new things to make your wedding special and MEMORABLE!
Speaking of memorable…check out all the memories people captured in the photobooth last night!

Thanks again to everyone who made this Deer Creek Open House the best yet!

Annie and Victor chose the Sheraton Hotel in Overland Park to have their ceremony and reception. Dan Meiners Studio did a magnificent job transforming the ballroom with faux windows and window treatments that were hung from the walls of the ballroom to make it look like a chapel. The windows were back lit with pink and lavender lighting. The reception was a black tie event with a live band that performed a medley of Jewish songs. Annie’s dress was beautiful. The table settings were amazing and of course, much fun was had in the photobooth to make the evening even more memorable!

KC Photobooth had the pleasure of ringing in the New Year at Uptown Theater. Their annual New Year’s Eve celebration was quite spectacular. Live music in over five rooms, dinner buffet, open bar and over 1000 guests made this evening unforgettable! Happy New Year!

Laci and Ryan’s wedding has been a long time coming; we helped them create photostrip save the dates what seems like forever ago, so it was wonderful for the day to finally come! This was our first time to the Clubhouse on Baltimore, a BEAUTIFUL and unique venue in downtown Kansas City. The ceremony and reception were held in the same room. The entire room is filled with dark chocolate wooden walls and columns and its most remarkable feature is the 20 foot tall wall of stained glass that will literally take your breath away!
Fully embracing the Christmas season, all the wait staff and the DJ (Complete Music) wore Santa hats! Ivory sheer fabric was draped from the wooden columns and were lit from behind. There were two buffets to serve guests upstairs and downstairs. The groom’s cake was a cell phone with the phrase “Love at first text” to commemorate how Laci and Ryan met. Complete Music kept all the guests dancing, except when he announced that the photobooth was still open without a line and EVERY guest on the dance floor made a bee-line for the photobooth! Here are some of the best shots!
