The Westminister Christian Academy held an Italian Bistro themed fundraiser to raise money for the school. The silent and live auctions were FILLED with goodies from a free 44 oz. drink from Sonic everyday for a year to six third and fourth row tickets to the KU vs. MU game in Allen Fieldhouse! We can only imagine the success of the fundraiser when the KU/MU tickets alone sold for $4500!! Other big ticket items included a photobooth rental, dinner with the Westminister pastor AND dinner for six at Bill Self’s house with Bill Self and the rest of the coaches on the KU Basketball staff! Clearly someone at Westminister Christian Academy has the hook ups!

Thank you so much to Westminister Christian Academy for inviting us to be a part of your fundraiser!

The Forster Family Fun Fall Festival was hosted at the Forster Family barn. We were glad to be involved in this event, as all the proceeds for the rental went to the Shadow Buddies Foundation, making up part of the $150,000 that was raised at their charity event in September.

The Forster Family celebrated Dan’s birthday with a 50’s theme extravaganza! The cake was amazing! Fitting the theme perfectly, it was a Juke Box surrounded by records. The décor was festive in pink and black. There were Root Beer Float candles, a mini diner and soda shop and even Karaoke!! To wrap up the evening, Dan (the birthday boy) was dressed as Elvis complete with a wig and huge sunglasses!

Thank you for letting us be a part of your event and thank you for donating to such a wonderful charity as Shadow Buddies!!

The Hawthorne House hosted a charity fundraiser “All Hallows Eve” to raise money for Kellen Bolling. Kellen is 4 ½ years old and he is fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. From all of the ticket sales and silent auction items, over $5000 was raised to support Kellen’s family and pay his medical bills. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported Kellen!

Here’s some of the fun that was had!

What could possibly be better than a room full of lawyers? A photobooth full of lawyers! KC Photobooth had the pleasure of providing entertainment for the Johnson County Bar Foundation’s Annual Charity Stampede. Everyone got together to have fun and raise money for the many charities that the Bar Foundation supports.

We were also lucky enough to meet Representative Dennis Moore and hear him serenade us with his band! Here’s some of the fun:

The Kansas City Chefs Association held their annual benefit dinner at the Muelbach connected to the Downtown Marriot on Sunday evening; a very convenient venue considering we came straight from the Marry Me in Kansas City Bridal Show just a few blocks away!

Guests had the opportunity to take a picture for $5 with all the money going to support the Kansas City Chefs Association charities. The guests enjoyed the photobooth and the incredible assortment of food provided by many of the best chefs in Kansas City. If you haven’t tried the filet from the Capital Grille, you should! We all gave it 8 thumbs up!  And the best carrot cake we have EVER had was provided by Three Women and an Oven. It was worth every bite!

Shadow Buddies had their 14th annual benefit dinner on September 21st. The Shadow Buddies Foundation was founded in 1995 by Marty Postlethwait to create stuffed “buddies” that are designed to be a friend to children and seniors who have various diseases. Buddies are condition-specific and can be used to demonstrate the physical results of treating a particular condition.

Tony Gonzalez, Matt Cassel and David Cook all support Shadow Buddies by visiting children and seniors in the hospital. They all attended the event and spoke about their involvement with Shadow Buddies. David Cook even walked away with a King Charles Spaniel from the live auction!

We were invited to provide entertainment and a memento for the guests. We also provided a four hour photobooth rental for the live auction in order to raise money for Shadow Buddies.  And though we didn’t get any pictures of Tony Gonzalez, Matt Cassel or David Cook, we still had a great time supporting a wonderful foundation!

Here are some of the best pictures from the night. Can you pick out Andrew Cook (David Cook’s brother)?
