We’ve had a few well known people take pictures in our photobooths before (Congressman Dennis Moore, David Cook’s Brother, etc.) but this one tops the charts. Joshua Jackson (The Fringe, Dawson’s Creek, Urban Legends, The Mighty Ducks, etc.) and Diane Kruger (National Treasure 1 & 2, Troy, etc.) attended a wedding on June 5th at Oakwood Country Club and took some great pictures in the photobooth! May 1st was a BIG day in KC Photobooth history! We had 7 events going simultaneously that evening! It was definitely a long day, but also a great day! There are always a few days each year that are very popular for one reason or another…this year May 1, July 10, and August 14 are all 7 event days!
Can’t wait to do it again!

On April 17, 2010, Adam and Whitney hosted a Housewarming Party in their new home in Olathe, KS! We certainly don’t need an excuse to jump in the photobooth, but why not add to the wedding album with a few more pictures celebrating a new step in their lives!
And, no, dogs are not usually allowed in the photobooth…but Truman & Ellie are family!

Are you looking for a photographer? There are a lot of them out there…but how do you know if they’re good? Ask your other wedding vendors or family and friends for recommendations! If they’re willing to recommend, you know you’re going to get quality! We only have a few photographers that we know well enough to recommend, (Mark Leonard Photography of course).
Now we’re adding Photos Edge to our list of recommended photographers! We were lucky enough to get stuck at a PWG Bridal Show due to inclement weather and we got to spend some quality time with Photos Edge and Berry Good Video (videography). Long story short (kinda)…we now know what great photographers they are!
Check out the Photos Edge blog (http://www.photosedge.com). Katrina & Max (two of our on-site coordinators) are using them for their wedding and their engagement photos were just posted! Beautiful!
Anyways…back to the point of this entry! On April 2, 2010 we were invited to provide a photobooth for the Open House of their new studio located in the Crossroads District! Check out all these fun shots!

Valentine’s Day is the perfect day for a wedding! That’s what Christy and David thought when they planned their Valentine’s nuptials to take place at Shawnee Town Hall on Sunday afternoon!
Everyone loved the photobooth and took some great pictures! Congratulations to Christy and David! May every Valentine’s Day be just as wonderful (if not better) than your first as husband and wife!

Last night, we were lucky enough to attend the Renee Kelly’s Vendor Thank You Event! What a wonderful evening! The Pearl Mic Project kept the evening going with classic big band music from Frank Sinatra and many other great names. The appetizers and desserts were prepared by Chef Renee Kelly herself and the food was wonderful! Adam said the crab cake was one of the best he’s ever had! My Mom and Me Cakes designed a beautiful cake (see below), but it tasted even better than it looked!! Delicious!
If you haven’t been to Renee Kelly’s at Caenan Castle, you need to check it out! What an AMAZING venue! A renovated castle is certainly a perfect setting for a wedding! Renee Kelly’s provides the ultimate “castle experience” from the decor, tables, place settings to the excellent service provided by every staff member! Their brochure highlights the fact that they strive to go above and beyond for every event, and it definitely showed! Check out the pictures of the castle (AWESOME) and, of course, all the fun had in the photobooth!

Wow! 2009 seemed to fly by! Just one year ago, we were rolling two photobooths into the Hawthorne House for Whitney and Adam’s wedding (in 67 degree weather!!) and now we’ve completed 130 events in 2009 alone! Thank you to everyone for having us be a part of your special events (Weddings, Birthdays, Corporate Events, Christmas Parties, etc.)! We will certainly be even more busy in 2010 and we can’t wait to meet more brides and help create more fun memories! Here are a few of the BEST pictures from 2009!

KC Photobooth had the pleasure of ringing in the New Year at Uptown Theater. Their annual New Year’s Eve celebration was quite spectacular. Live music in over five rooms, dinner buffet, open bar and over 1000 guests made this evening unforgettable! Happy New Year!
