Jessica & Ryan chose the always elegant Hilton President to be the setting for their wedding reception. Everyone at the Hilton President is always so nice to work with; they really work hard to make every event perfect! KC Photobooth is always glad to add to the fun of the event!

Ryan is a professional football player who is now playing for our very own Kansas City Chiefs! He’s a Kansas City native; he played for Shawnee Mission Northwest! Go Cougars! He met Jessica in high school; however, it wasn’t until they got reacquainted at their high school reunion that the romance started. And the rest is history…

Except that everything at the reception was brilliant and phenomenal! Jessica’s dress was amazing (we wish we knew where she go it)! There was a variety of specialty desserts as well as food provided throughout the entire night! To top everything off, they even surprised their guests with a Michael Jackson impersonator from 80sMichael.com!

The photobooth fit in perfectly as it added even more fun to the evening! Check out these great photostrips!

Congratulations, Jessica and Ryan!

Lacey & Josh chose The Grand Ballroom at The Elms in Excelsior Springs, Missouri as the backdrop for their wedding reception. They transformed the Grand Ballroom, a circular shaped room located in the center of the resort, using pink uplighting and tulle fabric draped from the edges of the room to the center above the dance floor.

Complete Music provided the musical entertainment, including karaoke for the guests later in the evening. Complete Video added to the reception when they showed a Same Day Edit of the ceremony midway through the reception. One of the highlights was the Sand Unity Ceremony that Josh chose for their ceremony.

The photobooth was a hit right from the get-go. Lacey had a box of props ready to go! There were hats, boas, animal noses, silly glasses, clown noses, and so much more! After an hour, it looked like a multi-colored chicken had exploded next to the photobooth from all the fun people were having with the boas! Check out all the fun they had in the photobooth!

Congratulations, Lacey and Josh!

Nida & Jack had their reception at A Midwest Premiere. This venue had very nice chandeliers throughout the room and houses a spacious dance floor! Nida noticed our green apple tablecloths when her and Jack were taking their large photostrip pictures; it turns out they were a great match for their colors! So we nixed our black tablecloths for her and graciously provided green apple linens for our photobooth tables.

Jack is a firefighter with the City of Shawnee Fire Department. He was recently interviewed by the Discovery Channel regarding how he saved a little boy’s life who had fallen through some ice. Our firefighters really do put their lives at risk to keep us safe! Nida has been accepted to the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and is planning on becoming an Emergency Room physician! Good luck, Nida! They’ve also been busy purchasing a new house!

Congratulations, Nida and Jack!

Lindsay & Ryan had their wedding reception at the Town Pavilion. Their beautiful florals were done by 18 Flowers; our friends at Pro DJ KC provided the reception entertainment; and Covenant Cakes provided the cake!

Lindsay & Ryan requested our extended photobooth for their reception, and we were more than happy to oblige! We knew everything would be safe for the reception because there were Secret Service agents sweeping the building when we were delivering the photobooth. Apparently there was a town hall meeting earlier in the day. Perfect timing to ensure a safe wedding reception!

Congratulations, Lindsay and Ryan!

Katy & Ryan had their wedding reception at the Berg Event Space in downtown Kansas City. Before the ceremony even started, the couple decided to share with their guests, through a video, how they met, what kind of person they were looking for, and then thanked their guests for sharing their special day with them.

The reception was quite unique as well; the photobooth played a part in a secret. It was either the mother of the bride or groom (our on-site coordinators weren’t sure) that brought in a garden gnome to be included in every photostrip by the guests. However, it was a surprise for the bride and groom! They wouldn’t find out about it until they got back from their honeymoon! Believe it or not, the garden gnome made it into at least one picture on almost every single photostrip! Check the pictures out if you don’t believe me!

Congratulations, Katy and Ryan!

Robin & Nick chose The Red Barn in Weston, Missouri for the setting for their wedding. They couldn’t have had better weather on their big day! Although the forecast was calling for scorching heat, Mother Nature decided to cool it down just enough to be comfortable; good thing because the photobooth was on the front porch! The gorgeous ceremony took place in the orchard next to the barn with an a capella soloist providing the ceremony music. Then it was time for the reception!

Mellissa Garris from the City Market did an awesome job with the decor and florals! Gerber daisies appeared to be the favorite! Two Guys and a Grill was a unique alternative to on-site catering; the photobooth was set up close to their trailer, so we can vouch that the food they prepared was giving off some pretty good vapors. A definite good choice!

The reception was made all the more unique by the Irish Folk Trio. Everyone enjoyed the music, including a soloist who had taught herself the art of Irish Folk Dancing! This wedding was definitely a national-reaching event, as there were guests from Hawaii, Washington, Colorado, South Carolina, and so many other places!

And of course, as always, check out the great pictures that everyone took in the photobooth!

Alexis & Spencer had their wedding reception at Alexis’ parents’ home in Kansas City, Missouri. Pies were provided by Upper Crust, Sally Kuklenski did the flowers, and Celia Albon played the harp. After a brief interruption of rain, the reception went off without a hitch and much fun was had in the photobooth!

Congratulations, Alexis & Spencer!

Ashley & Nick had their wedding reception at Shoal Creek Community Church. The church, and of course the bride, was beautiful! Ashley is the daughter of the owner of Pro DJ KC and friend of KC Photobooth, Jennifer Sinnett.

You could tell everyone was ready to continue the fun when they got to the reception. The photobooth definitely added to the fun! All the guests loved being goofy and creative while spending time with Ashley and Nick on their special day.

Congratulations, Ashley and Nick!

Randall & Drew had their wedding reception at the Holiday Inn in St. Joseph, Missouri. They transformed the ballroom at the hotel into the perfect setting for a unique reception! Light red up-lighting completed the outskirts of the room while the centerpieces conveyed the Summer concept that they seemed to be going for.

Having the photobooth set up in the hallway outside the ballroom didn’t stop guests from swarming the photobooth and having a great time! There was constantly a line all night! A few women, who called themselves “The Pinks”, were a riot jumping in and out of the photobooth for different pictures. Randall and Drew provided chalkboards, boas, and mustache glasses that guests used in the photobooth. Some guests really got creative with the chalkboards! Check out some of their interesting messages!

Congratulations, Randall and Drew!

Eden & Thomas had an outdoor wedding reception at the Bingham-Waggoner Estate in Independence, Missouri. The Estate grounds is a gorgeous setting for a wedding! Large fans were provided to keep the guests cool for the outdoor ceremony and reception. Russell of Changing Seasons was the wedding coordinator and did a great job with the decor and florals!

The guests had a great time in the photobooth! Eden and Thomas requested our newer, extended photobooth, and the guests loved it! We also set up our canopy tent over the photobooth, which coordinated nicely with the canopy that the guests passed through to get to the Estate.

Congratulations, Eden and Thomas!
